Room Description
The Rested Robin room is the larger of the two bedrooms in your apartment. The emphasis is on rest, as by the time you reach our sleepy town, you are sure to want to put your feet up and just relax. After all, that is what a holiday is all about.
Getting off the hamster wheel is as easy as putting your suitcase down, switching the kettle on, and your holiday is out of the starting blocks. (Yes. I provide you with coffee, tea and milk…and ice. Lots of ice).
You will probably find the sliding door to the Rested Robin room wide open. We really enjoy our fresh air. You have a little Juliette balcony with two chairs and a little table, off to the right. To the delight of smokers, I really don’t mind if you want to have a “fag” on the decks!
This room can either have a King bed, or two singles. You tell me, and your wish is my command. If you were thinking that I just slap two singles together and call that a King….wrong! (well sort of). I have purchased the finest linen for your enjoyment, which includes the most plush mattress convertors on the market. This means that you won’t have a clue. No bumps. No lumps. No splits.
It is totally awesome. I promise, and this is a practice of most five-star hotels. (I researched!)
Your bed has newly purchased white linen, with some earthy toned touches in pillow cases and blankets. Each pillow and the mattresses have protectors on them, which are strictly laundered between guests.
The bathroom is en-suite with a shower, and you will find a set of complimentary toiletries available, which includes a shower cap. Fluffy towels and even face cloths are supplied. Hairdryer supplied too, in case in the heat of the moment you dived in without cover!
So stretch out on your bed, or sit under the deck umbrella. I have supplied some magazines “of the month” for you to enjoy.
You have a full set of “his and hers” cupboards, with hangers available, and a safe should you wish to lock your valuables up. (Leave the bling at home – you won’t be needing it in Knysna)
You will also find a modern glass table and chair where you might want to put your laptop. Hopefully to download some movies (free wi-fi), and hopefully not to work!
